WCTH alum Daniel Lissing returns with holiday movie A Time Capsule Romance

Daniel Lissing has been missing from social media for quite some time but has finally returned to Instagram. In fact, he marked his return with an Instagram Story featuring a beautiful sunset with no explanation. Meanwhile, it has been exactly 52 weeks since he shared anything on the social media platform.

It turns out the former When Calls the Heart star is starring in a new Great American Family holiday movie. According to People, the Australian-born actor will star with Jillian Murray in A Time Capsule Romance.

According to the synopsis, a father (Lissing) bonds with his daughter and stumbles on an unexpected romance (Murray) while searching for the owner of a mysterious Christmas time capsule.

While Great American Family has yet to announce the premiere date, their holiday movie programming starts on October 20. This means Lissing fans will get to see it at some stage between October 20 and Christmas Day.

Moreover, A Time Capsule Romance is still a working title, so this could be changed when the network announces the premiere date.

What’s happening with Daniel Lissing?

While we know about his new movie, A Time Capsule Romance, Lissing’s IMDb doesn’t reveal anything new for the popular actor. Meanwhile, due to the WGA Writers’ and SAG-AFTRA actors’ strikes, there isn’t much going on in the TV and movie field.
