In tonight’s When Calls The Heart final episode, after not speaking, Elizabeth finds Rosemary at home and apologizes with muffins. They sit and talk about Lucas and Nathan. In town, Nathan updates Bill and Lee about the search for Jesse. They have had no luck this far. Meanwhile, Faith sees Carson’s bags are packed. She finds him at the cafe. He tells her he would not leave without saying goodbye. After Faith heads back to the hospital, Minnie thanks Carson for being such a great doctor who cares for all people.
Fiona signs up to run for mayor in town after Mike encourages her. Across the way, Lee is now sharing his office with Rosemary who has declared herself the editor of the new newspaper the Valley Voice. Lee loves the sound of it.
At the saloon, Elizabeth tries to speak with Lucas but they are interrupted by a business man in town. Elizabeth heads to see Minnie to tell her how the superintendent is threatening to shut down the school if Angela attends. They believe she would require to much attention and that would effect the other students. Elizabeth plans to fight but Minnie tells her she cannot.
Joseph and Lee raise the bell at church while Lee vents about finding his talents. Meanwhile, Elizabeth asks Rosemary to write an article in her paper about the superior threatening to shut her down. They talk more about the Nathan and Lucas situation. Elizabeth feels lost. Rosemary knows she will find her way.
Henry speaks with Mike. He is stepping down and wants him to run the company. Lucas stops by Elizabeth’s. She is at school, Robert tells him. Robert is now babysit for Jack. Lee visits Clara at the cafe. She is making Jesse a cake for when he returns, she hopes. Carson and Faith say goodbye. On Carson’s way out, the town is there to say goodbye and applaud his great work. After he leaves, Nathan and Jesse ride into town. Clara runs to him. Elizabeth tells Nathan she is glad he returned safe. Lucas sees this and walks off.
Elizabeth visits Nathan at work. She confesses that she is trying to find Jack in him and that is unfair. She tells him that she loves him but she isn’t in love with him. She leaves as he stays silent. Meanwhile, Jesse and Clara spend sometime together while Minnie talks to Angela about school. They will do whatever she feels coming with.
Rosemary works late to print her paper. Lee sticks around to help her. Nathan pays a visit to Lucas. They share a drink. He tells Lucas what Elite has confessed to him and hopes Lucas will hang on to her. Across town, Elizabeth opens her book delivered by Robert. She realizes she is still wearing her wedding ring.
Lee finds Rosemary sleeping at the office in the morning. He has coffee and her morning paper. She confesses she needs a staff and more. He laughs. The town all read the paper while Lucas says goodbye to Henry who has sold off his shares of his business even after Lucas has asked him to stay.
Clara and Jesse head out on a trip while Elizabeth is at school with the superintendent who believes none of the students will show. Minnie, Angela and the family head to leave for school when outside their door they discover all of the town’s students. They plan to stick together. They walk to school, arriving to see a veery surprise superintendent.
Ned arrives home after his trip. He finally tells Florence he went to discuss his invention with business men, the bandaid. She is thrilled. Mike realizes Henry is really gone. He and Fiona head off to discuss an investor she has found.
Lee rushes to tell Rosemary that he is going to run for mayor while Nathan and Faith spend some time as she wraps his hand up after an incident with barb wire.
Elizabeth gets word that the saloon has been closed. She rushes there and sees Lucas may be gone. Later, he finds her out on the bridge, crying. He runs to her. They kiss. He almost left but that would have been a mistake. He discovers she isn’t wearing her ring. She thanks him for waiting for her. That night, they share a romance dinner. Elizabeth tells Lucas about their love story.

Very disappointed. Henry left (one of my favorite and most interesting characters), and Elizabeth's choice was unbelievable. Not sure I'll watch next season.
So glad she chose Lucas.
