    Production for When Calls The Heart Season 13 won’t officially start until July 1; nevertheless, Jack Wagner has already shared insights with TV insider regarding the significant romance between Georgie and Bill.

    He began by reminiscing about the Season 12 reunion of forensics expert Georgie McGill and Bill Avery. Staying true to his soap opera roots, the former General Hospital star was eager to discuss that kiss from the Season 12 finale.

    Jack Is Super Excited To Be Playing Romantic Scenes Again

    Jack explains, “Last year, they had Melissa Gilbert on the show, and I kissed her at the end of our episode, which sparked a little romance for Bill”.

    He later mentioned that Melissa Gilbert is coming back for Season 13, and recently, the Little House On The Prairie star confirmed her return.

    It seems like she will have a recurring role since she plans to be in Vancouver, where they film the Hallmark series, multiple times-she looks excited.

    However, Jack’s excitement is on another level; “Melissa’s return this year means they will continue this storyline, which I think is fantastic-she’s wonderful”. I haven’t explored that on When Calls The Heart, so for me, it’s like reconnecting with Jack Wagner from the ’80s and ’90s.

    Jack Continues To Talk About Romantic Scenes

    Finally, he said, “I realized that’s why I’m having so much fun-it’s like, ‘Wow, I’m reviving my old charming romance persona, let’s bring this character back.’”

    Bill and Georgie have a history; Melissa Gilbert, known as the Queen of the Prairie, appeared in two episodes of the series-she plays the role of Georgie McGill.

    Although she is a newcomer to the Hearties, she is familiar with Bill Avery, the character played by Jack Wagner-they had known each other for a long time.

    It wasn’t until Season 12 that they discovered they both had feelings for one another; throughout the season, there were moments when they could discuss their past and emotions.

    Bill And Georgie Had Villains To Find, Work Interfered With Romance

    However, they had villains to confront-their work interfered with their romance until they finally shared a kiss.

    Melissa has expressed her desire to delve deeper into this relationship before-what lies ahead for the two? Fans will need to be patient for additional teasers and the Season 13 premiere, which is set for 2026.
