Hallmark Channel News – Filming Safety Measures

As previously reported, the WCTH cast and crew must follow strict safety protocols in order to continue filming. This includes feeding everyone prepackaged sandwiches instead of a buffet. Wearing masks at all times except when the cameras are rolling. Mandatory two-week quarantine for cast members coming from other areas and that must take place before they even think about approaching the set. Many scenes are even being filmed outdoors.

Some of the cast members have spoken out on social media about how safe they feel on set. Sure, some of the safety measures might be an inconvenience and cause production to take much longer than usual. However, the actors seem appreciative of everything that is being done to help them stay healthy. This includes Krakow, who previously talked about how safe she feels on set.

One of the safety regulations includes everyone wearing masks on set with the exception of when cameras are rolling. It seems that everyone is taking this very seriously and Krakow is no exception. In fact, she has been quite open about the positives of wearing masks. She posted on social media a picture of herself flying to Vancouver to film. She proudly wore a light-colored mask and used a black sharpie to draw a smiley face on a post-it note, which she stuck to the mask.

Hallmark Channel News – Erin Krakow Wears A Mask While Riding A Horse

The When Calls the Heart cast member posted a picture on Instagram. It showed her on set and wearing the period dress while riding a horse. She was also wearing a dark-colored mask while on that horse! We are pretty sure that right before the cameras started rolling that she took it off. However, she has no problem obeying the mask rules, even while on horseback. She wrote, “Taking the reins.”

What do you think of Erin Krakow wearing a mask while on horseback? Obviously, if she were horseback riding or racing, that would not be recommended. However, onset there are a lot of cast members and crew personnel around her, even though you can’t see it in the picture. So, it was necessary to keep everyone safe.
