WCTH spoilers reveal that on Friday, June 17, the Hallmark Channel announced the show was given the green light for another season. This means that fans will get season 10 featuring their favorite Hope Valley residents.

The renewal was expected as the show’s viewership numbers are outstanding. However, last year fans had to wait forever to get any renewal or cancellation news from the Hallmark Channel. Thankfully, the network decided not to make Hearties wait so long this time. The renewal announcement was issued about a month following the season 9 finale.

When Calls The Heart Spoilers – Season 10 Spoilers: New Showrunner

There will also be a new showrunner, according to TV Line. A Hallmark Channel rep explained that Lindsay Sturman (Supergirl) will be handed the reins in season 10.

Plus, a statement was released by Lisa Hamilton Daly, who serves as Executive Vice President, Programming of Crown Media Family Networks, which is Hallmark’s parent company.

“When Calls the Heart continues to push the limits as to what we can achieve with this show. There are many more stories still to be told about the lives of the beloved characters in this series and we cannot wait for everyone at home to tune in to see what unfolds.”

When Calls The Heart  Spoilers – Not Hallmark Channel’s Only Renewal

When Calls the Heart was not the only show that was renewed by the Hallmark Channel. Chesapeake Shores was also renewed. Fans can expect to see season 6 of the show, but it will be the final one.

As for what Hearties can expect in season 10, Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) and Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) will be engaged. So, we might see some wedding planning. However, it is teased that it won’t be a smooth road.

It also appears that Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) might find himself in a love triangle. Will he end up choosing Mei Sou (Amanda Wong) or Faith Carter (Andrea Brooks)? Will Allie Grant (Jaeda Lily Miller) interfere with Nathan’s decision?

Plus, Rosemary Coulter (Pascale Hutton) told Lee Coulter (Kavan Smith) that they are expecting a baby. It is teased that Rosemary will deal with some unexpected events during the pregnancy, though. Co-executive producer Elizabeth Stewart teased to ET Online,

“I hope the Hearties are feeling as excited as we are to dive into these long-anticipated events.”
