When Calls The Heart Season 10 & Beyond Schedule

When Calls The Heart (WCTH) Season 10 arrives in 2023 and Hearties are so excited. Well, they would be. After all, it’s a great story and its popularity hasn’t died.

In fact, the last season brought in an average of 2.9 million viewers each week. Notably, in the finale which finally saw Lucas (Chris McNally) propose to Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow), the audience topped 3.1 million. With such good ratings, will there be more beyond the upcoming season? 

When Calls The Heart Season 10 – Premiere Date 

If you haven’t heard, WCTH will premiere in July this year. So, July 30, 2023, is the date to remember. A sneak peek dropped in February this year but didn’t give away too many spoilers.

Elizabeth just sat at her desk writing a letter. In it, she detailed what happened “over the past few months.” As usual, it was all about challenges and how the community stepped up to help each other. And, that’s been the theme of the show since its inception. 

The teaser for When Calls The Heart Season 10 was a short recap of what we saw in Season 9. Recall, Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) and her husband Lee (Kavan Smith) hired plenty of people after the oil wells dried up. It also showed Rosemary who looked about to pop her first baby with Lee. And that’s gotten Hearties really excited.  It didn’t drop in February as hoped, but there are plenty of tales to tell in the new season. 

When Calls The Heart – Schedule Worth Waiting For

WCTH fans became concerned by the delays, but there was a bit of upheaval within Hallmark. However, it seems that it’s definitely been worth the wait. According to Cartermatt, the new season comes with the same number of episodes as usual. So, with 12 of them, we should expect that “the season should be done filming by the time we get around to Sunday, October 15.”

The thing is, that the filming schedule for Season 10 of When Calls The Heart means “season 10 wrap[s] up probably not that long before season 11 does the same. ” Well, supposing that “we are getting the same production schedule as we got last year.” Actually, the fact that Season 11 is even being talked about demonstrates that Hallmark has a lot of confidence in the ratings. 

When Calls The Heart – 100-Episode Milestone

When Calls The Heart will hit a phenomenal 100 episodes in the next season. And, that’s largely due to the Hearties who keep on being loyal to the story of beautiful Hope Valley. For the cast and the audience, it seems like there’s so much more to tell. After all, McNally told ET, “We’re also moving into the 1920s and exploring a new decade — the Roaring Twenties.”
