Season 14 Is Coming This January

To think that it hasn’t been a week since we confirmed that Marilu Henner will be joining the show as Nathan’s mother, Birdie Grant, and yet, here we are receiving more good news.

Hallmark Channel cheekily named the month when fans can start expecting new episodes, when they shared a special sneak peek. In the clip, we see Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) introducing Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) to Abigail Stanton (Lori Loughlin).

“Look who’s back in Hope Valley! 👀,” the caption read. “See @loriloughlin back as Abigail in the new season of When Calls the Heart, coming this January!”

One fan was literally hyperventilating over the news, writing, “Can’t breathe!!! Too excited!!!! AHH!!!😍😍😍😍😭😭😭😭.” Other fans were equally as ecstatic about the news, with one also gushing, “Omg chills! I cannot wait for this moment!!!!”

I feel like this is the second time in a week that Hallmark Channel has hinted that they’re seated and ready to give fans what they want. Earlier, we learned that Marilu Henner, who will be joining the show as the “colorful” Birdie Grant, has started filming for her scenes.

And you know that the one special request that fans made ahead of this upcoming 14th season is that Elizabeth Thornton and Nathan Grant will walk down the aisle as quickly as possible.

Well, an adventurous future mother-in-law is now in the picture to help with wedding planning and other arrangements. “This role is particularly special to me, because I get to play Nathan’s mother, the fabulous and feisty Birdie! And I’m very lucky that Elizabeth is going to be my daughter-in-law!” Henner previously told PEOPLE magazine in an interview.
