As far as what to expect when season 8 kicks off, there will be plenty of romance. Krakow confirmed this a few weeks ago on Twitter. We also see on her Instagram account that she is wearing bold-colored skirts and one photo shows her without her rings. There is speculation that Elizabeth Thornton will finally make a decision between Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) and Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally).

The Hallmark Channel recently confirmed that there will not be a Christmas movie special this year, despite confirmation earlier this year. Obviously, the pandemic and sets shutting down, as well as safety measures slowing production are a big factor in this decision. However, the network teased that to make up for it there would be a special surprise for fans.
