Krakow Just Misses Her Friend

When Calls The Heart’s Erin posted a photo on Instagram in July that had fans wondering if Lori Loughlin had returned to the show as Abigail. The photo contained a picture that was painted by Abigail’s husband that was originally noticed in season one of the series. This combined with the fact that the director, Peter DeLuise, posted a photo of Abigail’s diner as well. Loughlin fans thought this may mean that she had returned to the series after her recent legal issues.

However, it turns out that it was nothing more than a possible indication that they were filming in Abigail’s café. Krakow revealed why she shared the photo in August. Krakow says it meant that she really missed her friend and that she likes the new wallpaper that has been put up in the diner. Krakow said in an interview with ET Canada when asked if Loughlin could come back to “When Calls The Heart”, “From your lips to God’s ears. I truly, truly hope so. It would make me so happy to see Abigail back in Hope Valley. And I think there are still a lot of really beautiful stories for her character to get to tell. I would welcome her back with open arms. So let’s hope.”

Getting Lori Loughlin Back Would Be Tough

When Calls The Heart Creator, Brian Bird, explained that getting Loughlin back would be tough regardless of how much he wants her to play Abigail. Bird told Dr. Steve Greene is a Charisma Podcast Network’s Greenelines podcast that he would love nothing more than to have Lori return to Hope Valley as Abigail. However, that decision is not up to him, there are a lot of parts involved with getting her back on the show. Bird says that a lot of other people have to say yes to inviting Lori back and that may not happen.

“I can’t say with certainty that we can pull that off. I hope we can, but I can’t say with certainty that we can pull that off.” Bird says that he hopes that this is the kind of show they are because if anyone should return to Hope Valley, it’s Abigail. Bird hopes that they can make this happen but that is all that he can say at this point.

In a September 2020 interview, When Calls The Heart’s Bird told Hearties Hotline Podcast that he had been praying for the best outcome for Lori and her family. Bird reveals that we all make mistakes. Perhaps other WCTH executives should take Bird’s approach and give Lori and Abigail another chance.

Her character is really missing from the show. It's a loose end and I hate loose ends. We all have sinned and fall short. If we can't forgive her how can we expect others to forgive us? She is an actress and has more money than most of us, but she is also a human being and one of God's creations. Thats my two cents.

I think time has passed and everyone needs to move on. I don't see any point in inviting her back. I think you'd turn away some fans if she would come back on. Just let it rest.

I would love for Lori to come back.

I agree with u. I get on here when I see something about WCTH and it's always about Lori Laughlin. Enough already. I love this show, although I didn't watch when she was on, so I don't miss her anyway. Let's move on.

I hope they bring her back. Not one if us us perfect so stop acting like its impossible to forgive her. It would help her to heal from this too.

Other stars have done and still do much worse things than she did and they still have a career. When you stop and think about they didn't do anything that rich people have been doing for years, they just labeled it as a donation or built a new library or science building. None of us are perfect, forgive and move on.

This is a family friendly show and Lori has made a career out of playing moral women. How could someone take these moralistic characters and still do something as horrible as con less fortunate children from equal education opportunities. Actions like these can have lasting disadvantages and consequences for children. Nasisstic behaviour like this should not just be brushed under the rug. If she returns will she be playing a school mistress who hands out diplomas to the children of the town who's parents are rich enough to buy them, I think not it will be her playing at pretending she is a kind and decent person. It's an insult to children to have her parade about acting the innocent. If we want to stop crimes against children then people who commit them need to be taught they are not welcome on our screens or anywhere else in the public eye. Our children need to know we will stand up for their rights and protection.

Keep her off. She always acted like she was Better. Move on without her

There's more than forgiveness involved. Lori is now a convicted felon. The show is shot in Canada, which doesn't normally allow the transit of US felons into their country. If Canada doesn't allow her in, she won't be on the show. Unfortunately, her Garage Sale Mysteries series was also filmed in Canada. I'd love to see Lori back.

Will never watch again if she returns
