When Calls The Heart spoilers reveal that after two years of silence, there is finally some stirring on When Hope Calls. WCTH fans have anxiously awaited an update on the sequel so what is going on with the new series?

When Calls The Heart Spoilers – When Hope Calls Is Filming Something Presently

Hallmark has not spoken about this but the When Calls The Heart Spinoff seems to have had their Christmas spinoff replaced by When Hope Calls. According to Ho! Ho! Holiday Viewing on Twitter, fans can look forward to the second season of When Hope Calls. It seems that instead of a “Christmas Special” the show has been upgraded to Season two.

However, presently, there is no official release date which usually indicates that the show is not in full production. However, after a bit more information was collected, it seems that pre and post-production information has been released. “The pre-production date started on September 7, 2021, and ends on September 24, 2021. The principal photography date starts on September 28, 2021,

and ends on October 15, 2021.” This was posted by Hallmarkie’s co-host Ann Scott.

When Calls The Heart Spoilers – The Speculation Has Begun

Now that the proverbial cat seems to be out of the bag, Ho! Ho! Holiday Viewing commented, “Don’t want to over speculate, because production can be very fluid until actual on the groundwork begins, but had seen crew listing both “Christmas Special” & “Season 2″ in availability lists. Wonder if both might happen (special filmed as part of season), or if it’s just S2 now?” It still seems that fans have to wait to see exactly what is going on with the production of the season, or the Christmas special.

However, it seems certain that one of the other is for sure happening in time for Christmas. Although the shooting schedule seems only long enough to shoot a short movie. It would be very hard to shoot a season in that short amount of time. A Hallmark movie usually takes about three weeks to shoot from beginning to end and makes much more sense at this point.

Will There Be A When Calls The Heart Special?

Since no announcements have been made by now and Countdown To Christmas begins next month, it is very unlikely that WCTH will have a special. Normally the movie would have been announced by now and trailers would be available. However, fans must wait until the Countdown to Christmas schedule is released to see if either When Calls The Heart or When Hope Calls will have a Christmas movie in the Hallmark Christmas line-up.

With a twelve-episode lineup again this year in the When Calls The Heart schedule, it could be very difficult to squeeze out a movie as well. However, a When Hope Calls movie would not be so hard. Until the Countdown to Christmas list is released, it seems fans will just have to wait and see.
