“When Calls The Heart” Star Erin Krakow Shares Update On New Film

Erin Krakow, who plays the character Elizabeth Thorton on WCTH recently revealed that she would be reuniting with former castmate, Daniel Lissing for a new Hallmark flick called Santa Tell Me.

While Variety officially broke the news in early February of this year, confirming the movie is set to be a part of Hallmark’s beloved yearly “Countdown to Christmas” series.

Erin posted a photo of the two together on Instagram noting that she is “happy” to be working with her “dear friend” Daniel Lissing on the flick. The post showed her and Daniel hugging on the set.

This sent WCTH fans into a frenzy, flooding the comment section with excitement and shock. Daniel crafted his own IG post, seemingly thrilled with the new holiday project, noting that this is a “nice way” to start the year.

When Calls the Heart Spoilers – Elizabeth & Jack, Back Together Again

As WCTH fans know, actor Daniel Lissing played Jack Thornton, the romantic interest of Elizabeth, on the show.

Jack and Elizabeth’s romance evolved over the first five seasons of When Calls the Heart, and the two tied the knot at the halfway point of Season 5.

Sadly, Jack passed away during a landslide incident while on a Mountie assignment, leaving WCTH fans devastated.

The bad news is that this ended the Elizabeth/Jack chemistry on the show; however, the good news is that both Erin and Daniel can re-spark that magic during their new Christmas film, Santa Tell Me, and in typical Hallmark movie fashion, this romance likely won’t end as tragically as their last one!
