When Calls the Heart spoilers and updates tease that all episodes have been filmed for the show’s upcoming season 9. Jack Wagner shared a video that features him, Chris McNally, and Kevin McGarry as they celebrate the end of production.

In the clip, the actors sang “That’s a wrap to season 9 of ‘When Calls the Heart.”

Executive Producer Brian Bird tweeted that season 9 will have 12 episodes. There’s still no news about a special Christmas movie this year but its show’s spinoff, When Calls Hope, will feature a two-part Christmas episode, which is expected to air on December 18 on GAC family.

The trio weren’t the only ones who celebrated the wrapping up of season 9 production. Pascale Hutton also shared an Instagram post, which informs her followers that it’s the last day of production.

Martin Cummins shared a post, too, which features a snap of a pair of boots. He captioned it, “And that’s the name of that tune.” Ken Ledford #whencallstheheart #hearties.” Fans were relieved to know that Cummins returned to the show. In the season 8 finale, his character seemed like he was leaving town for good. But viewers were happy when the actor confirmed that he’s on set and filming his scenes for the new season.

Everyone is excited for the return of When Calls the Heart. It’s scheduled to premiere in 2022. For those who are wondering what to expect in season 9, director Siobhan Devine said there will be big changes in Hope Valley.

Devine, who directed 2 episodes on season 8, said hinted that industrialization will come to Hope Valley. Fans will see how it affects Hope Valley’s small community back in 1919. How will the locals cope with the massive changes that are bound to happen soon? Devine had good things to say about everyone in When Calls The Heart. She described the cast as “nice in real life as they are on TV.”
