When Hope Calls Season 2 Spoilers – Lori Loughlin’s Reunion

WCTH fans were divided on whether Loughlin should return to the show as Abigail Stanton. While the Hallmark Channel didn’t invite Loughlin back to When Calls the Heart, she was cast in the spinoff, When Hope Calls season 2. Loughlin isn’t the only WCTH alum to appear on the spinoff, though. Daniel Lissing is also on set, so the two had a heartwarming reunion. In fact, Lissing called it “nostalgia plus.” There were times when he couldn’t believe that they were actually working together again, but glad it was happening.

When Hope Calls Season 2 Spoilers – Jack Thornton Returns

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Lissing was asked if Jack Thornton could ever return to When Calls the Heart. This is what he had to say:

“I have been approached in casual ways from people that are involved with these projects like “let’s do something more, and I’m like how? If you can give me a good way to do it that makes sense then I’ll be open to listening. So who knows what will come, but I’ll just leave it at that.”

When Hope Calls Season 2 Spoilers – Facetiming With Erin Krakow

Several months ago, a When Calls the Heart fan mentioned on Twitter that the trio – Loughlin, Lissing and Krakow – would never reunite. At that time, Krakow got fans excited by saying,

“False. We still [heart emoji] each other.”

Like Daniel said, I'm hoping for a romcom with all three of them.

You made a mistake in the first paragraph. Daniel Lissing never played Nathan Grant. He played Elizabeth's husband, Jack Thornton.

I am glad that Daniel Lissing is coming to When Hope Calls, as long as it is not as Jack Thornton. Maybe he could come into it as Jack's twin brother, Zachary (Zach). Or maybe a look alike. But bringing him back as Jack Thornton would just be wrong because of the newfound love between Elizabeth and Lucas. My brother has 3 exact lookalikes: one of them lives in Ireland, one in San Diego, and one in Chicago. My brother met them all when he was in the Navy during 1970s and '80s. My brother even looks exactly like a character in a Norman Rockwell painting, except my brother doesn't smoke: I think the painting is called "Giving Thanks."

As far as Lori Loughlin is concerned, I was pissed off when WCTH ditched her. As soon as she was out of prison, they should have brought her and Cody back into the show. I bet rich men who got their boys into Yale and Harvard back in the late 1700s and all through the 1800s were never tossed in the pokey for paying the schools exorbitant amounts of money for tuition! But because these women paid large amounts of money, they were unjustly punished. I guess some things, like equal rights, never change! Anyway, welcome back to TV Lori!
