During the first two-episode premiere of When Hope Calls, the love story of both characters was brought up. It starts when Abigail tells a woman that she wants to make sure that her letter will be delivered. The latter promised her that her letter would be delivered to Henry Gowen.

Abigail then returns to the same store later in the evening to make sure that her letter was delivered. The woman she talked to earlier was gone, ghost Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing) said.

When Calls Hope Spoilers – Henry Gowen’s Plan To Leave Hope Valley

In the season finale of When Calls The Heart, Henry appeared like he was planning to leave Hope Valley forever so he could search for things that were more important. Is he referring to Abigail?

Fans may recall that Henry told Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) that he was leaving everything including all his businesses behind because they weren’t important. He doesn’t know what’s next for him but he made it clear that it doesn’t have anything to do with acquiring more shiny objects. He said he’ll be leaving town to find what truly comforted him. Fans just have to wait and see if Henry and Abigail will cross paths again.

Daniel Lissing Appears On When Hope Calls

Lissing’s appearance on When Hope Calls was expected by most fans of the show. His return for the show’s second season has been announced for months. However, only a few were prepared for the message that his character shared with Abigail when he appeared to her in a dream sequence.

Jack and Abigail shared a hug after he told her that he missed her. Jack didn’t understand what was happening but she asked Abigail to relay a message to his widow, Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow). He wanted to let her know that he’s happy that she’s moving on with her life. Jack also wants Elizabeth to know that she’s doing a good job raising little Jack and that she’s proud of them both.

Lissing’s appearance seems like a one-time thing, at least for now. There’s also no report that he’s set to reprise his role in When Calls The Heart, which is set to air in 2022.
