New Characters Appear In Season Two, And Some Characters From Season One Are Gone
Fans won’t recognize the characters in the recent sneak peek that was released on Instagram since they’re brand new characters, introduced in season two-and, some characters from season one are gone.
The series first premiered on Hallmark Movies Now in 2019, focusing on the lives of sisters Lillian (Morgan Kohan) and Grace (Jocelyn Hudon) as they managed an orphanage in Brookfield. However, Hudon will not reprise her role for the upcoming Season 2.
Additionally, Grace’s romantic partner, Chuck (Greg Hovanessian), will not be returning either. This season will feature new cast members including Wyatt (Nick Bateman), Wendy (Tess Stewart), and Maggie (Hanneke Talbot).
New Characters Mountie Michael And Nora Are Featured In The Sneak Peek Clip
Fans are buzzing with curiosity about what the second season will bring, and exciting new information has just been unveiled. The network took to Instagram to share the official teaser for the upcoming season, offering a sneak peek that has everyone talking.
The post not only announced the premiere date but also featured a brief clip; Mountie Michael (Christopher Russell) is seated in a cozy café when he spots Nora (Cindy Busby) passing by.
He quickly calls out to her, and she recognizes him just in time to hear his warning about a puddle on the floor. “Hate to see you have an accident,” Michael remarks, and they share a charming smile that hints at their connection.
Other New And Returning Characters On Season Two
Ronnie Stewart, played by Neil Crone, runs the local hotel in Brookfield and often has a new scheme to get rich quickly; he is Tess’s brother-in-law. Lucie Clay, portrayed by Kalinka Petrie, is the new foreman at the Stewart Ranch.
Trevor Donovan will appear as Constable Jim Reynolds in a two-episode storyline; Reynolds is an experienced Mountie known for his strong presence and skills.
He will first show up in the third episode of season 2. Nick Bateman will also join the cast as a character named Wyatt; for those who want to watch the first season, it is available for streaming on Hallmark Plus.
