Even though there will still be intimate and romantic scenes, that doesn’t mean production isn’t taking COVID-19 seriously. There were changes to the script and how filming is done. Mandy Moore is also pregnant, so everyone is being careful. The actor told Us Weekly,

“Mandy and I were inches away on Saturday doing a few scenes together. She’s regularly tested, I’m regularly tested. Because of the seriousness of COVID and knowing that Mandy’s pregnant — and we have 150 souls on our crew — nobody wants to put them at risk.”

No Jack Pearson Dummies

Even though Milo takes COVID-19 seriously, he also trusts Mandy and vice versa. The This Is Us co-stars trust each other in regards to how they go about life when they are not on set. With that being said, there will be no Jack or Rebecca dummies.

“… you’re not going to see a Jack dummy or a Rebecca dummy — or Mandy kissing the Jack dummy or Milo kissing them Mandy dummy. It’s not gonna be that!”

Being Responsible

Milo told the media outlet that he was ready to get back to work. However, he wanted to do it safely and he’s not just talking about filming. He wanted to be sure that he took precautions everywhere he went and with every activity, including driving his car. The actor said that the biggest thing is to be responsible and it’s not just about keeping himself safe but protecting others from COVID-19.

What To Expect In Season 5

This Is Us season 5 spoilers reveal that we will see more flashback scenes of Rebecca’s pregnancy. Since Mandy is expecting a child in real life, it makes filming those scenes a bit easier. We will also see Kevin Pearson (Justin Hartley) announce he’s going to be a father to twins to Kate Pearson Damon (Chrissy Metz) and Toby Damon (Chris Sullivan). Then, there is also the feud between Kevin and Randall Pearson (Sterling K. Brown). There will also be an adoption story for Toby and Kate.
