B&B Spoilers And Recap Wednesday, April 20: Steffy’s Family Keeps Her In The Dark, Carter And Quinn Reignite Their Chemistry

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and recap reveal that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wakes up to her “husband.” Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is dumbfounded when Steffy calls him her sweet husband.

Dr. Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) admits to Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) that it’s possible Steffy may completely block out her shooting. Taylor wishes she could spare her daughter the pain of remembering. Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) eavesdrops.

Taylor and Bridget agree that Steffy’s mental state is too fragile to pressure her or thrust the reality of the shooting on her.

B&B spoilers – Steffy freaks

Bridget finds her patient telling Liam how much she needs her husband. An alarmed Bridget asks Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Liam to let Steffy rest.

Steffy flips when Liam tries to leave her. She professes her love for him.

The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope has faith in her husband

Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) cautions Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) to watch out for Steffy. Steffy’s husband died tragically and that could bring her and Liam closer.

Hope isn’t worried that Liam will help Steffy recover from the trauma. Hope is confident because Liam’s ring is on her finger, not Steffy’s. Hope wouldn’t blame Steffy if she never wanted to think about that awful night again.

B&B spoilers – Taylor vows justice

Sheila chats it up with Taylor, trying to sniff out information on what Steffy remembers. Taylor apologizes that Steffy can’t recall who shot Sheila’s son. Taylor promises that the perpetrator will be behind bars for the rest of his life.

Brooke is surprised to see Sheila at the hospital. Taylor says Sheila belongs there. Sheila claims to be concerned about Steffy.
The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers – Bridget advises Steffy’s family against telling her the truth

Ridge and Liam emerge from Steffy’s room with alarming news. Taylor fears Steffy took a turn for the worse. Bridget says Steffy’s memory deficit is more problematic than they realized.

Liam says Steffy was grateful to see him and believes that he’s still her husband. Sheila is pleased with this turn of events. It appears that Steffy has no recollection of Finn. Brooke and Hope believe Steffy deserves to know what happened to Finn. Taylor doesn’t think it’s wise to tell Steffy the truth.

Bridget weighs in and sides with Taylor. It’s too early to dredge up Steffy’s trauma.

B&B spoilers – Quinn is happy Carter broke up with Paris

Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) share an intimate moment. Carter is all smiling when Quinn reveals she misses him too.

Carter says he ended it with Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) to protect her. Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) can give Paris everything she wants. Quinn doesn’t disagree. She’s relieved that Carter and Paris are over given Carter’s relationship with Zende and the Forresters and the fact that Paris tried to blow up Quinn’s life.

What happened between Carter and Quinn almost caused irreparable damage to Carter’s relationship with the Forresters. Quinn warns Carter that the Forresters won’t be too pleased to discover that he’s doing an end-run around Zende by luring poor, sweet Paris into his love nest. Quinn says what happened between them is in the past, but Carter is making the same mistakes.
The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers – Carter suspects Quinn’s marriage is on the rocks

Quinn misses their talks. She doesn’t have a lot of friends and Carter’s absence left a void in her life. She’s happy to be back with her husband, but no one understands her the way Carter does. Eric Forrester (John McCook) frequently sleeps and works in the guest house.

Carter guesses there’s a problem in Quinn’s marriage. She stops short of complaining about her husband. She’s committed to him but says Carter never wanted to change her. Carter says Quinn is an original among originals.

B&B spoilers – Steffy clings to Liam

Steffy asks the nurse to bring Liam in. Liam says the best thing is to let Steffy believe they’re still married. Hope watches from the doorway as Liam sits by his ex-wife’s bedside.

Liam encourages Steffy to fight to recover. Steffy makes Liam promise not to leave her.
