Married at First Sight Spoilers: Did The Experts Get It All Wrong On Season 10?So far, season 10 has been pretty much an unmitigated disaster, which calls to question whether the experts chose the right couples this time around.

In season 10 of Married at First Sight, it has become pretty obvious that the people who were drawn together this time are wrong for each other. Where does that leave the “experts?”

Season 10 of Married at First Sight

The experts on MAFS are Pastor Cal, Dr. Viviana, and Dr. Pepper and they are normally pretty good at their jobs. The marriages that have worked out on previous seasons appear to point to them being great matchmakers. However, this time around, something is very wrong.

Did the experts pick the wrong people, or did some of the men selected for season 10 lie when they said they were ready and willing for marriage?

Zach Justice and Mindy Shiben

Newsweek released a sneak-peek into Wednesday’s coming episode, where Mindy Shiben is starting to think her parents were right. They told her not to get married to a stranger. Despite the fact that Mindy and Zach Justice had a good time together at their DC apartment when midnight struck, Zach left her alone again.

In fact, Zach is the first groom in the history of Married at First Sight not to live with his wife following the honeymoon. He had assured Dr. Pepper that even if his match wasn’t his perfect dream girl, he would still give the relationship his all. However, now he is married to Mindy, he doesn’t seem to be trying at all.

Mindy is confused and sad over Zach’s rejection of her. He has said on a number of occasions that he doesn’t find her attractive. How long can she take this rejection before the marriage needs to end?

Brandon Reid and Taylor Dunklin

Brandon gave up trying with his marriage just a few weeks after the wedding. However, while Taylor is obviously feeling hurt, the fact that she shared a social media video, saying how hard it is to find the ideal man didn’t do her any favors.

While her friend protested that the video was harmless and a joke, the hurt was already done. She should have apologized about this during mediation but she didn’t. However, Brandon’s reaction to that video is equally destructive to their marriage. He ignored Taylor for a day, then cursed her out in front of the other couples and the MAFS crew.

Taylor, however, did defend him and she is trying to be a good wife, even though he is not trying. Does one childish action on her part have to destroy a marriage?

Michael Watson and Meka Jones

Probably the worst of the lot is Michael, who continues to tell lies to his wife, Meka. First there was an off-camera conversation about sex during their honeymoon, but also there’s the fact he lied to Meka about his job. This included telling her he was a yoga teacher.

What makes his lies even worse is the fact that he tries to blame them on Meka. He says the lack of communication between them forces him to lie. He then gets upset when Meka speaks to the other couples about his mistruths. Michael also says the fact he was adopted has had an influence on his need to be liked by others. Though people can relate, he tends to take this excuse too far.

These three couples definitely call into question the “experts’” ability to pick candidates for marriage. Admittedly, there have been problems in previous seasons with various couples, but to have this many relationships going wrong in one season is pretty bad.

Keep watching Married at First Sight on Lifetime Wednesdays to find out what happens next.
