The Search for Riches and Survival Fuel Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum’s Misadventures in New Movie
Channing Tatum, 41, and Sandra Bullock, 57, are going for comedy gold in latest movie featuring Brad Pitt and Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe.

The pair drove the audience to laughter with a short clip released in a new TV spot, as they try to survive while trying to land riches.

The 30-second preview, which aired ahead of Super Bowl LVI, starts with a tied up Loretta (played by Bullock), who asks, “What is this, Taken? Am I ‘tooken’?”

After Tatum’s character falls down from the sky (in a move reminiscent of Dwayne Johnson’s Dr. Bravestone in “Jumanji”), he declares heroically, “I’m here to save you”. The two are then shown trying to outwit the movie’s villain, played by Daniel Radcliffe, while experiencing a series of mishaps including steep cliffs and leeches.

Channing Tatum Spoilers – Brad Pitt’s cameo

Brad Pitt’s cameo arrives at the end of the clip as he attempts to rescue Bullock’s character from bondage, when she asks him why he’s so handsome. Pitt’s onscreen character, who is long-haired and bearded, then replies, “My dad was a weatherman.”

In the film, formerly titled “The Lost City of D”, Bullock’s character Loretta Sage is a reclusive romance author who writes about adventurous, exotic settings.

Tatum’s Alan stars as a cover model in Loretta’s novels. While the pair are on tour promoting their latest book, Loretta is kidnapped by a billionaire (played by Radcliffe, 32) who believes she can lead him to an ancient treasure featured in her latest plot.

Alan, wanting to prove he’s as heroic in real life as he is represented in the books attempts to save the author. The rest is, as they say, happy accidents.

“The Lost City” also stars Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Oscar Nuñez, Patti Harrison and Bowen Yang.

“The Lost City” Casting And Production Details

Entertainment Weekly revealed how Brad Pitt’s cameo in the upcoming movie came to be as a first look into the film’s production. Bullock and Pitt happen to share a hairstylist Janine Thompson, who got the actress to star opposite opposite Pitt, 58, in his “Bullet Train” movie if he agreed to appear in “The Lost City”.

In an interview with EW, Bullock said that they let Brad Pitt steal the show. “He just came in, and he tore it up. He’s really funny,” she said of Pitt’s performance.

“He came in and played a certain character that fits into this weird world, and just signed up for it completely and wholly,” Tatum added. “I’ve met him, but to get to work with him was a whole different thing. I couldn’t focus. It was really an out-of-body experience in a lot of ways.”

“He’s so crazy handsome and devious. I don’t know how to explain him,” she said. “But you wouldn’t think that he plays sinister so beautifully and calmly and in such an attractive way.”

As for Radcliffe’s portrayal of the villain in the movie, she said: “He’s so crazy handsome and devious. I don’t know how to explain him,” she said. “But you wouldn’t think that he plays sinister so beautifully and calmly and in such an attractive way.”
