Stranger Things’ Noah Schnapp Said He Guilt-Tripped Shawn Mendes Into Following Him On Instagram

Seems like Noah Schnapp has a thing for revealing what happened in the comfort of the DMs. Recently, the star of Stranger Things revealed how he got Shawn Mendes to follow him on his Instagram account. As usual, the conversation took place in the Dm.

On Oct. 27, Noah and co-star Millie Bobby Brown were having a game of “True Confessions” on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” when Noah confessed that “I guilt-tripped Shawn Mendes into following me back on Instagram.”

At first, it was hard to believe that Noah guilt-tripped the musician into following him on Instagram but, when Noah narrated how it went down, it wasn’t so hard to believe.

Noah explained that the “Stiches” singer had followed his co-stars, Millie, Gaten Matarazzo, Sadie Sink, and Caleb McLaughlin, except him. According to Noah, he made a move which anyone would have made, he Dm’d Shawn.

“I DM’d him and I was like, ‘I’m low-key offended,” the 18-year-old said. “Why do you follow everyone [else]?'” Noah went on to say that Shawn replied his text saying “He said, ‘Oh, what’s up man? Like, I love you so much.'”

It all started when Doja Cat Dm’d Noah asking him to help her with the contact of his fellow Stranger Things co-star Joseph Quinn. “Noah can you tell Joseph to hmu,” Wrote Doja. “Wait no. Does he have a girlfriend?” When Noah replied Doja he said “LMAOO slide into his DMs.”

The above conversation was meant to be confidential right? Good. But before we could say Jack, Noah has already shared the contents of the message, and guess what? Doja Cat called him a Snake for his action.

Noah Schnapp — Noah’s DM Issue With Hannah Godwin

Early this month, the Bachelor’s Hannah Godwin called out Noah for not keeping the promise he made in her Dm. Taking to her TikTok to hop onto the trending Nicki Minaj’s 60 seconds spoken words on “Super Freaky Girl” beat, Hannah said “@Noah Schnapp I got a bone to pick with u!!!” with Noah as the caption of her TikTok video before going on to explain what the 17-year-old did to her.

Hannah went on to reveal that in the past year, Noah slid into her DM to ask her a favor. The favor was that, Hannah makes a 2 minutes video of herself saying “Hi” to Noah’s friend who is so obsessed with Hannah. Out of excitement, Hannah agreed but has a favor of hers to ask. Guess what? She asked the same thing of Noah, this time for her friend Dina.

Noah promised to make a video so Hannah accepted to make one too. It was a done deal that, had they been physically present they would have shook on it.

Hannah said that after the exchange of favors from both sides, the next morning she made her video, and sent to Noah, he confirmed he liked it but, Noah never held up to his end of the bargain.

Anyways, Hannah thought to make excuses for Noah by saying that Noah is probably busy, “It’s okay. Maybe he was busy. Who knows? But we are still waiting on a video.”

Noah got wind of Hannah’s callout video and quickly responded with “What?? I’m sending it rn who’s it for.” Anyway, I think Hannah’s response to Noah is what can be described as “the time has passed for this but, if we still need you, we’ll let you know” because Hannah told Noah that she would have her “people reach out” to contact Noah’s team.
