Viewers know that Pierce and Chloe have previously clashed on the subject of having children. Whereas Pierce would like another child, Chloe no longer dreams of having her own child natural as there is the possibility of passing on the Huntington’s disease gene and, even if she doesn’t, Chloe doesn’t want the child to have to lose her when she becomes ill.

Neighbours Spoilers – Chloe Brennan And Pierce Greyson Take Big Step

Last week, Chloe and Pierce took a huge step when they decided to look into fostering, inspired by Aaron and David who is currently fostering 13-year-old Emmet. However, things didn’t work out for them, and it seemed like children were not in their future.

When Chloe begins to feel tired and struggles to remember things at work, she becomes worried that her Huntington’s disease symptoms have onset a lot sooner than she thought. However, upon thinking about things more, she decides to take a pregnancy test. Must to her shock, Chloe finds out she is pregnant.

At first, Chloe doesn’t know whether she wants to tell her husband, wondering whether it is best to wait until after the Huntington’s check at ten weeks. However, she realizes that she must tell Pierce so she tells him the next day. He is thrilled, much happier at the news than Chloe. But he doesn’t quite understand the ramifications of Chloe’s disease, and what it could mean for their baby.

Neighbours Spoilers – Keep Quiet

When he finally calms down from the excitement, Pierce tells Chloe that it is her choice as to what happens now. They choose that the best thing to do is to keep it quiet until after the ten-week scan and Huntington’s test, then decide together what the next step will be.
