Neighbour Spoilers - Paul Robinson

Neighbour’s   (Stefan Dennis) embroiled in scandal when he tries to con his way out of a lawsuit.

Neighbours bad boy Paul is at the centre of scandal next week as he once more tries to buy his way out of the Lassiters’ Hotel camera lawsuit.

Viewers know those secret cameras which were hidden in the hotel three years ago have recently been discovered, containing film of many guests. One of these recordings was made public, much to the horror of Kyle Canning and Amy Williams, whom it showed having sex.

This week, Paul finds himself in even more trouble when he discovers that Kyle Canning (Chris Milligan) isn’t going to let the issue lie, and so is teaming up with Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) to initiate a class action lawsuit against Lassiters’. Though Kyle’s motivation is anger, Toadies’ lies in the fact that the fees from the case would enable him to keep the Sonya Rebecchi Foundation afloat, which is in dire financial difficulty.

Next week, Kyle becomes almost obsessed with the case, devoting all his time to it. This makes the tension between him and Amy Williams (Nicolette Minster) even worse, who remains loyal to her father Paul even after everything that has happened.

The case becomes even more complicated when Kyle finds out that Paul tried to bribe Toadie into dropping the lawsuit, offering a large sum of money to the Foundation if he does so. Kyle is outraged, verbally attacking Paul in the middle of Ramsay Street. Watching her boyfriend and father at war, Amy feels more in the middle than ever.

She decides to confront Kyle, asserting that they’re hardly spending any time together because he is too invested in the lawsuit. She also points out that her ex Gary was always arguing with Paul and she doesn’t want to go through that again. Kyle is understanding and decides to step down from the class-action lawsuit for the sake of his relationship, but Toadie is determined to carry it through.

Is there more drama to come?
