Neighbours Spoilers: Dipi Resorts to Violence in Shocking Confrontation

Fans have seen many times how much of a fierce and protective mother Dipi Rebecchi can be, but she takes it too far in next week’s Neighbours.

Over the past month or so we’ve watched Yashvi – who had never actually played football before in her life – pursue a career in Aussie Rules Football. Major respect for Yashvi, who’s decided what she wants in life and gone for it.

For this reason Dipi couldn’t be more proud as she stands on the sidelines, watching Yashvi play in an important match. However, her intense enthusiasm soon becomes a big problem to those around her.

Shane has previously warned Dipi and the rest of the family that they must remain composed during the match, as any distraction could be really off putting for nervous Yashvi. It’s especially important that she doesn’t get distracted, because – although Yashvi isn’t aware of it – there is a talent scout watching her play, to see if she has what it takes to play in the big leagues.

Unfortunately Dipi ignores Shane’s warning, and her loud and enthusiastic actions at the sideline quickly begin to embarrass poor Yashvi. To make things worse, Dipi even manages to get into a heated argument on the sidelines, arguing with the father of an opposing player.

The final moments of the game are tense as it’s down to Yashvi to either win or lose the match for her team by a single shot at goal. As she’s about to shoot the man that Dipi had been arguing with starts to heckle her, trying to distract her and make her lose the game.

Being as protective as she is, Dipi is absolutely furious and punches him right in the face. The ruckus actually distracts Yashvi, who miskicks and ends up loosing the game for her team.
