It seems as though this storyline has only just begun but official spoilers reveal that Elly and Chloe’s romance is already coming to an end. Just days after agreeing that they should explore a relationship, the pair decide to go their separate ways next week.

Viewers have watched as has Elly struggled to identify herself – she isn’t attracted to women generally but does have romantic feelings for Chloe.

However, these struggles emerge as cold feet when Chloe calls Elly her girlfriend in front of Pierce Greyson (Tim Robards), leaving her feeling uncomfortable. As ever, Chloe is just over enthusiastic about her current situation, but this time her actions backfire.

Elly is quick to remind Chloe that she wants to take things slowly and she’s still working out what their connection means, so she shouldn’t have called her ‘girlfriend’ yet. Chloe listens and understands, though worries that Elly will have little time for her when the baby is born, which will make her struggle with coming to terms with their situation even more.

Realizing that they’re not on the same wave length, Chloe makes the decision to break it off with Elly before it gets even more complicated, even though it leaves her heartbroken.

Neighbours Spoilers – Pair Will Amicably Agree To Just Remain Friends

Elly is shocked and tries her best to talk Chloe around, but she struggles to ease any of Chloe’s concerns. In the end, the pair amicably agree to remain friends but put an end to their romantic endeavor.

When Pierce finds out about the split his main concern is Chloe’s happiness, even though he has feelings for her himself. While they continue to support her, Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) and David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) notice the chemistry they still share, informing Chloe that it’s obvious they’re still compatible.

Chloe doesn’t want to move on just yet, but is there still hope for her and Pierce? Tune into Neighbours from Monday 26th August to find out!
