Neighbours Spoilers: Fay Brennan Dies, Chloe and Aaron’s Grief Overwhelms Them

Neighbours spoilers and updates tease Fay Brennan (Zoe Bertram) was introduced to Neighbours in 2017 as the mother of the iconic Brennan family. Fay has Huntington’s disease, a condition that stops parts of the brain working properly over time.

Her condition has drastically worsened over the past year or so, and Fay is currently back in Erinsborough to spend sometimes with her children Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) and Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) and their families. While here she is trying to fulfil her bucket list, and has included activities such as life drawing and tasting the late Gary Canning’s desserts again.

Neighbours Spoilers – Fay’s Health Struggles

This week, viewers watched as Fay struggled with her health after putting a small piece of chocolate on her tongue, despite being nil by mouth. As a result, David organises a check up just to make sure there are no aftereffects, but it’s not good news. Although she tells her family everything is fine, David knows that the truth is actually very bad.

It turns out that Fay has just days left, and she ends up passing away on Monday 8th March (5th April in the UK.) Her family are with her when she passes, and turn to their friends and family to try deal with their grief.

Neighbours Spoilers – Lashing Out

Not knowing what to do with her emotions, Chloe ends up propositioning Nicolette, knowing that she’s still in love with her. Despite her feelings for Chloe, Nicolette respectfully turns her down, knowing that Chloe is only suggesting sex because she’s in the wrong headspace.

On the other hand, Aaron reacts to his mothers death by getting angry and lashing out at David. He blames his husband for not spotting Fay’s deteriorating health sooner, despite being a doctor. David reacts well though, understanding that it’s just the grief talking and eventually gets through to Aaron and is able to comfort and support him.
