Neighbours Spoilers- Shane Rebecchi Struggles

Viewers have watched Shane struggling to keep up with his home life, a job at The Waterhole, and his university studies for a while now. He just doesn’t have time to do everything and always ends up letting someone down, so he’s about to go to drastic measures to make sure he can keep up.

Next week, viewers will see Shane panic as his police-officer daughter Yashvi becomes a major part of the school investigation into their current drug problems. Since Shane has been using drugs to keep him focused during his studies, he is worried he is about to be found out.

He’s also terrified that his wife Dipi will learn what he’s been doing, especially when she comes dangerously close to catching him in the act. Although Dipi doesn’t discover his pill problem, he is sent into panic mode when Roxy discovers a bag of drugs at The Waterhole whilst she’s helping Shane cover some of his hours.

Knowing what’s been going on at school, alongside the fact that Harlow was almost blamed for the distribution of these drugs, Roxy is determined to call the police and hand over the evidence. Not knowing what else to do, Shane stops Roxy at the last second, desperately confessing that the drugs belong to him

Roxy is totally taken back by Shane’s confession, especially since he likes to think of himself as the moral compass of his family! She agrees not to tell the police but does leave him with an ultimatum: tell Dipi what’s been going on, or give up the drugs.

Choosing his marriage over his addiction, Shane locks himself in a hotel room as attempts to go cold turkey.

But will he manage?
