Neighbours Spoilers: Jacinta Stapleton Returns To Ramsay Street As Amy Greenwood

Neighbours spoilers and updates reveal there’s a familiar face coming back to Ramsay Street, as Jacinta Stapleton reprises her role as Amy Greenwood. After 15 years away from Ramsay Street, heritage character Amy Greenwood is set to return.

Amy joined the show in 1997, departing 3 years later in 2000. She made a guest reappearance five years later for the show’s 20th-anniversary special. She is perhaps best known as being a bright, bubbly, and cheeky woman who brought lots of colour to the street. Memorably, she was in a relationship with neighbour Lance Wilkinson, but ended up having a baby with their neighbour Damien.

Not Only Divorced, Amy Greenwood Is Jobless

As well as a divorce, Amy has recently lost her job. As the airline that she worked for as a flight attendant collapsed, she’s forced to find a new vocation. When she decides to turn her hand to design she sees that Lassiters, Erinsborough, is advertising an opportunity to design their new works uniform.

So she heads back to her old stomping ground, convincing Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) and Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) to meet with her, so she can pitch some ideas. But she leaves disappointed, convinced that she didn’t do enough to secure the tenure.

After a chat with old friend Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney), Amy learns that Paul has always found it hard to resist ambitious and beautiful women, so she plans to use that to her advantage. She, therefore, creates a saucier uniform, hoping that she can convince him to hire her.

Amy returns on Tuesday, 8th December in Australia, and Thursday 7th January 2021 in the UK.
