Neighbours Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) to face the sack as Lucy Robinson (Melissa Bell) returns to Erinsborough.
The long-time character Lucy Robinson returns to Erinsborough next week as one of the many loved faces returning to Neighbours to celebrate their 35th anniversary. Good news for fans, but bad news for Chloe Brennan!
Viewers have watched for weeks as Lucy has tried to fire Chloe from her general manager position at the hotel. As Chloe somehow managed to keep hold of her job, Lucy has been instigating many changes at Lassiters to test Chloe – all the way from New York! But Lucy isn’t the only one concerned about Chloe’s work, Paul too has been trying to remove Chloe from her role.
Despite everything she’s faced, Chloe is finally getting the hang of her managerial role. However, Lucy’s unexpected arrival is about to throw her off course.
Understandably, Chloe is totally unprepared for Lucy’s visit and so fails in making a good impression. Things become even worse when Lucy discovers that the hotel isn’t meeting the targets that she had set for Chloe a few weeks ago. This results in a disappointing email from Lucy, destroying Chloe’s plans for her upcoming wedding expo.
One person who does make a good impression, however, is previous general manager Terese Willis. She asks newly-returned detective Mark Brennan to give a talk to the Buddy Club regarding the recent gun drama, which Lucy sees as a great and effective PR move. In fact, she’s so impressed that she immediately offers a position at the hotel.

Terese talks to Toadie Rebecchi about her job offer, admitting that it would mean that she would have to leave The Sonya Rebecchi Foundation. Toadie admits that he would be upset to see Terese leave but, believing that he already knows what she wants to do, he gives her his blessing.
What does this mean for Chloe?
Tune into Neighbours from Tuesday 18th February to find out.
