Neighbours Spoilers: Mark’s Exit Storyline Confirmed – Heads To Adelaide

Mark Brennan

Neighbours spoilers finally confirm Mark Brennan’s (Scott McGregor) exit storyline In scenes that will air next week, Mark Brennan leaves Ramsay Street to start afresh in Adelaide, bringing a close to his five-year stint on Neighbours.

Viewers watched this week as Fay Brennan (Zoe Bertram) turns up on the street unexpected, clearly unwell. Her Huntington’s symptoms have significantly worsened – so much so that she needs full time care. Realising that Tyler and Piper cannot look after her alone, Mark decides to move to Adelaide and support his mother.

Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) is actually the first to volunteer, but considering that she too has Huntington’s disease it wouldn’t be fair for her to stare her future in the face every day. So when Mark volunteers, everyone is surprised yet glad, knowing that he will be great help to his mother and that he needs a fresh start away from Erinsborough.

Although Mark wants a low-key departure, Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) and David are insistent that he should give everyone on the street a proper goodbye. After all, the residents have all been through so much together, especially after Sonya’s passing earlier in the year. However, Mark doesn’t want an emotional goodbye so he instead decides to record video messages for those on the street who have a special place in his heart – sending them as he leaves.

When Elly watches her message, she is shocked and rushes to catch up with him at Lassiters Lake, where he is sat thinking about Sonya Rebecchi and Kate Ramsay. Thankfully she catches him just before he is about to depart, and the two have the chance to share a heart-warming moment together and a proper goodbye.

This is now the second time that fans have watched Mark leave – will he ever return again?

Tune into Neighbours on Tuesday, October 15th to watch Scott McGregors last scene as Mark Brennan.
