Neighbours Spoilers: Mishti’s Life Changed Forever By Shocking Secrets

Neighbours spoilers tease that Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor) will never lose his detective instincts, which he puts into play after Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano) makes a confession to him.

The Neighbours storyline will begin this week when Mishti Sharma’s (Scarlet Vas) old friend Monique (Madeleine Vizard) comes to visit her in Erinsborough for a little while. Monique immediately clashes with Mishti’s boyfriend Leo, mainly because she was a good friend of Mishti’s late fiancée Zander.

When Monique finds out that Leo is hiding something from Mishti she sees dollar signs, attempting to use this knowledge to blackmail him in return for one thousand dollars.

Neighbours’ Leo is obviously concerned and wonders just what else Monique is capable of. For this reason, he hires Tracey Wong, a private investigator who he hopes can discover exactly who Monique is and what her past holds.

A little while later Tracey tells Leo that she hasn’t managed to unearth anything controversial about Monique but has discovered something shocking about Zander. Tracey has enough evidence to show that Zander was under investigation at the time of his death for corruption within the police force.

Shocked and concerned about his girlfriend Neighbours spoilers tease that Leo decides to stop his investigation, not wanting to upset Mishti. He then confides in Mark about his decision, believing it’s best to keep the past in the past.

He told the wrong person though, as Mark decides to get involved by setting a trap for Monique to fall into. He tricks Monique by claiming to be a corrupt cop – ironic since he actually is. In doing this he convinces her to target Sheila and scam The Waterhole. Monique falls for Mark’s set-up and is soon confronted by the police.

The truth eventually comes out, leaving Mishti devastated – not only because she was fooled by Monique throughout their friendship but also because Zander was under investigation when he died. How will Mishti recover from this?
