Neighbours spoilers and updates revealed this past Wednesday night, on the official Neighbours Facebook pages (both in Australia and the UK) that Tom Robards is stepping down from the role of Pierce Greyson.

Pierce has been featured in some exciting storylines during his two years on Ramsay Street, even though he was only supposed to have a guest role! He will perhaps be best remembered for his rollercoaster relationship with Chloe Brennan, (April Rose Pengilly) starting from paying for dates with her, to eventually marrying her. But with news that Pierce is leaving whilst Chloe is staying, what’s in store for their relationship?

Neighbours Spoilers – Tim Robard’s Wife Pregnant

Tim Robard’s wife Anna Heinrich – who he met on The Bachelor Australia – is pregnant with their first child. While she is living at their home in Sydney, Tim has been living in Melbourne for filming during the week and traveling to be with his wife on the weekend. For this reason, Tim had decided to leave the show in the fall and focus on his growing family. However, due to complications with COVID traveling restrictions, he has had to leave the show four weeks earlier than expected to be safe with his wife when their child is born.

Rather than rewriting Pierce’s exit storyline, Neighbours showrunners have decided to recast the role and film Pierce’s last few weeks on Ramsay Street with another actor. This is a testament to the resilience of the show, who wanted to give the character a proper storyline rather than rewriting and not giving Pierce the ending he deserved.

Neighbours Spoilers – Don Hany Steps Into Role

Stepping into Pierce’s expensive shoes is Don Hany, an award-winning Australian actor. Don is no stranger to Neighbours: he is married to Alin Sumawata who played Vanessa Villante on the show between 2011 and 2013!

Australian viewers will see Tim for the last time on Monday 19th October, with Don taking over the roll-on Friday 23rd October.
