Neighbours Spoilers: Toadie and Melanie’s Work Dinner Date – Disastrous Or Romance Ahead?

Neighbours spoilers and updates reveal long time viewers were excited for the return of Melanie Pearson (Lucinda Cowden) and her iconic laugh. Last seen on screen for a guest appearance in 2005, Melanie is best remembered for her stint from 1987-1991.

Melanie came back last month on the instruction of Sheila Canning, (Colette Mann) and it turns out she’s living locally now. While Des Clarke (Paul Keane) and Jane Harris (Annie Jones) were happy to catch up with her, the same can’t be said for everyone.

Neighbours Updates – Paul Robinson Is Avoiding Melanie Pearson

While Melanie might have been his assistant back in the day, Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) has never taken a liking to her – even if he did once sleep with her! Now she’s back in the area, he’s doing his best to avoid her. He thinks she’s totally crazy and just the sound of her laughter is like nails on a chalkboard for him.

But avoiding her is proving difficult, as she keeps appearing with Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) in the Lassiters Complex. Knowing that Melanie and Toadie had a Tinder date, Paul assumes that they hit it off and are now dating, but that doesn’t stop him from asking Toadie not to bring her anywhere near Lassiters.

Neighbours Spoilers – Purley Professional Relationship

But Paul is mistaken. He doesn’t know that the relationship is purely professional as Toadie has recently hired Melanie to be his assistant. Despite her wacky ways, Melanie is a great worker and Toadie is both grateful and impressed. He therefore decides to invite Melanie for a work dinner to celebrate, forgetting that it’s actually Valentine’s Day.

When he soon realises what’s so special about the day Toadie begins to fret, worried that Melanie may get the wrong impression. Meanwhile, Melanie is worried that her new boss is trying to hit it off with her again…

Will their accidental date be disastrous, or could there be a twist in their tale…
