Neighbours spoilers tease Toadie Rebecchi is left struggling to cope on the anniversary of Sonya’s death.

It’s hard to believe that Sonya Rebecchi’s tragic death happened a year ago now, and it’s clear that Toadie is struggling to cope with the fact.

In scenes that are set to air next week, Toadie has to make the decision as to whether or not he should put Sonya’s wedding dress in the Lassiters Wedding Expo. At first, he decides that it would be a nice gesture, putting the dress on show for everyone to remember Sonya by. He therefore takes the dress to the community centre but changes his mind when he gets there.

Terese organises for a group of women to wear donated wedding dresses and hand out flyers as a way to advertise the event. Roxy agrees to help out, and unknowingly picks Sonya’s wedding dress up to wear, not knowing that Toadie actually wants it back.

While she’s handing out flyers in the middle of Lassiter’s, Toadie sees Roxy in the dress and flips, calling her disrespectful and shaming her in front of everyone. He eventually calms down and realises that it was a mistake, no harm was meant. Roxy is very apologetic about the misunderstanding, as is Toadie.

Neighbours Spoilers: Toadie’s Downward Spiral

Susan and Karl become worried about Toadie upon hearing what happened, knowing how much he is struggling. They try their best to be there for him, but Toadie soon informs that he doesn’t want any company; he has decided to spend the anniversary of Sonya’s death alone with Nell and Hugo.

The rest of Toadie’s family don’t want him to be alone either as they also want to commemorate Sonya. Does Toadie really want to be alone?
