The Walking Dead Season 11 is probably the final season for the long-running series from AMC. The post-apocalyptic horror TV series kept fans riveted for years. Obviously, people leave the show, and Andrew Lincoln who played the part of Rick Grimes was one of those people. For a long time, fans hoped he’d return as they never actually saw his body. However, they might be sorely disappointed.

It was bad enough when Carl, the son of Rick died in the show in Season 8. Recall, that Rick also disappeared off the show in Season 9. That came when he was taken into one of the helicopters with the help of Jadis, as he looked like he faced certain death. Well, he never came back and fans hoped that  World Beyond might give some more clues about his possible return. Well, the new season trailer revealed not a hair or hint of the beloved actor.

The Walking Dead Season 11 trailer revealed that Maggie Rhee, Daryl Dixon, Yumiko, Negan, and newcomer Princess are there. But nope – no Rick. Plus, no hint of a probable return of the favorite star came back in Season 10 either. Recent rumors suggested that finally, fans get see their hero again, and briefly, hopes arose. That came when IMDB credited Andrew Lincoln.

The Walking Dead Season 11 Fans Will Be Disappointed

In the comments section of the trailer that dropped on YouTube this week, fans talked about Rick Grimes. Here’s some of those comments posted by fans:

• “They better bring Rick back 😐.”
• “This was Ricks show. It would be really disappointing if it ended without him.”
• “Man if Rick doesn’t show up for the finale or episodes leading up, this will be a massive disappointment. Especially since we need some kind of lead up to the films.”
• “Rick Grimes by the series finale or we riot.”
• “Twd was never the same since rick left…[The Walking Dead] can’t end without him🥺.”
• “They better Bring back Rick for finale season.”
• “No matter how it ends if Rick doesn’t show up in some way the finale would forever be ruined.”

No Return Of The Original Hero Confirmed For S11?

Well, according to Debate Post, The Walking Dead Season 11 will not feature Rick Grimes at all. In fact, IMDB who sparked hopes has now amended their credit about Andrew Lincoln. Additionally, the outlet reported, “However, according to Insider, a spokesperson for AMC has been quick to deny the news.” Well, that probably dashed the hopes of many fans. After all, as fans agree, it started with Rick and it really should end with him.
