It looks like Barron Trump is very close to making a huge life decision. In fact, there’s heavy speculation that Donald and Melania Trump’s son may decide on his college very soon. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

While there was some speculation suggesting Barron Trump might decide to go to New York University, simply because he wants to stay close to his Big Apple roots, that might not be the case.

Instead, there’s a new report that suggests Barron might pick his college based on what kind of basketball teams they have.

Some of the schools that are in the running include the University of Pennsylvania, St. John’s University or the University of Miami, which would be closer to the Trumps’ Palm Beach home of Mar-A-Lago.

Now whether or not Barron does go that route and rather or not he might want to play basketball himself remains to be seen.

But it was suggested last month that Melania is probably trying to get Barron to go to college in New York City just because she herself wants to return to the Empire State.

The last thing that she wants to do is move back to Washington, D.C., especially if her husband Donald Trump ends up winning the presidential election. With Barron back in New York, Melania can always make the excuse that she needs to be back with her son. 

Barron Trump Only Has A Few Short Months Left To Make His Decision

So far the Trumps have not made any comments about the matter although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Either way, the world will find out what college Barron will choose as he only has a few short months left to make his decision.

That said, there’s a very good chance that he will stay on the East Coast, just so he can be next to his family. At least, that’s what Melania is probably hoping for.
