Well, that didn’t take very long, now did it? It seems as though President Donald Trump managed to ‘fix’ California with just the stroke of a pen. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Per the latest reports, The LA Times, the largest news site in California, just released an article confirming that President Trump’s orders are entirely responsible for the massive new water flow into Californian cities.

Apparently, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers abruptly increased the amount of water flowing from two California dams after President Trump signed an order calling for increased water deliveries.

Local water managers, who were caught off-guard by the decision, said they convinced Army Corps officials to release less water than originally planned.

It’s also been noted that the water is flowing into farmlands in the San Joaquin Valley. I’m not as smart as Milton Friedman, but I would guess this could eventually help lower food costs. And all it took was a single order from President Trump.

What’s Next For Donald Trump And His Administration?

Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “I grew up in California until I escaped in 2018.”

“For YEARS driving up the 5 through the San Joaquin, as President Trump said, huge tracts of dirt with little patches of green and signs all along the route, farmers begging for their water.”

Another critic wrote, “I live at the bottom of the San Joaquin Valley. My uncle was a cotton farmer in Shafter CA, my father in-law grew potatoes in Arvin CA. My family in construction. This valley was built upon farming, oil drilling and construction.”

“You can’t do any of that without water. Lack of water down here, has been the problem for us for decades. They care more about that stupid fish than they do the people. The people that have bled to build America.”

And then there was this comment as well: “When you drive through the central valley along the freeways there are countless billboards demanding the CA government allow water to flow, asking to support the farmers, saying farms need water, etc. The CA government has intentionally starved the local farms.”

So far Donald Trump himself has not made any additional comments about the matter just yet.
