Just days into his second term as POTUS, President Donald Trump’s family is in the headlines almost as much as he is.
His 18-year old youngest son, Barron Trump, is almost as famous as his legendary father, and now one of Donald’s teen granddaughters is stealing the limelight.
Here’s everything you need to know about bright and ambitious Kai Trump, the 17-year old daughter of Donald’s son, Donald Trump Jr.
Kai Trump Is Making A Name For Herself
The lead up to Donald Trump’s second term gave the public ample opportunity to meet his extended family, which, with three former wives, is extensive.
On inauguration day Barron Trump made history by graciously shaking hands with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Barron’s niece Kai has also been in the spotlight due to her YouTube videos showing off her enviable lifestyle.
Kai Trump’s Enviable Life
On January 30, 2025 Kai posted a vlog titled “This is what my life is really like” and it caught some fans off guard. The video begins by showing Kai going to the gym, then to her best friend Emma’s house where her mom feeds Kai “pretty much every single day.”
The end of the video shows Kai and Emma getting fro-yo at the end of the night. Emma’s mom is also teaching Kai how to cook, all of which is pretty routine for besties in high school, but some fans were left wondering where all the glamour is?
She Loves to Vlog
Kai’s previous video showed the inauguration in all of its glory. There’s no doubt that Kai has had a roller coaster ride through 2024 and into 2025. She was onstage at the Republican National Convention in July 2024, and in August she committed to playing golf for the University of Miami.
In her freshman year she wrote “I always aspire to be a leader and a positive figure on and off the golf course. I hope to continue my athletic career at the college level.”
Commits To Miami
Her announcement to play collegiate golf reads: “I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Miami. I would like to thank my mom, Vanessa, and my dad, Don, for always supporting me through my journey.”
“I would also like to thank my great team for getting me to this point. I would like to thank my Grandpa for giving me access to great courses and tremendous support.”
Kai goes off to college in 2026 but for now it looks like the sensible teen is staying grounded while her world changes and evolves.
