At Jimmy Carter’s funeral, Donald Trump and Barack Obama engaged in an unusually lengthy conversation, drawing attention from attendees. What’s more, Hillary and Bill Clinton made their entrance without acknowledging either Obama or Trump.

If that weren’t enough, Kamala Harris entered the room without acknowledging either Obama or Trump. Also, Michelle Obama was not seen at the funeral.

It was also noted that George Bush walked right past the Trump’s, then slapped Obama in the stomach and shook hands with everyone else. Obama didn’t shake Trump or Melania’s hand – but shook everyone else’s hands.

What’s Really Going On Between Barack Obama And Donald Trump?

Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some comments included, “Melania’s body language says it all—she clearly wants nothing to do with these people. Trump, on the other hand, keeps it cordial as always, but you can tell he knows exactly what he’s doing.”

Another critic wrote, “Obama doesn’t shake Trump or Melania’s hand but then starts talking to and (seemingly) joking around with Trump as soon as he sits down. Weird.”

“The real power on display is Obama (his power diminishing) and Trump (King of the World). At the very least, they recognize each other for what the other is. Everything else (Clinton, Bush) is history.”

And then there was this comment as well: “My guess would be they did all the pleasantries between former Presidents before they went to sit down… none of these look like conversations they *just* struck up… they seem like continuations of ongoing small talk… just my two cents.”
