President Joe Biden isn’t letting his critics slow him down. Despite the horrible reviews he received after the June Presidential Debate, the President has agreed to sit down for his first televised interview since his less than stellar performance (according to critics). The White House confirmed today that Biden will appear on an ABC News program next week.
Joe Biden’s – Debate Backlash
Joe Biden took the debate stage and faced off against Republican candidate Donald Trump last month. President Biden was lambasted over his performance, even Democratic supporters struggled to endorse him publicly.
The backlash was so bad that Biden was forced to address the headlines and release an official statement regarding the debate.
The President stated, “I don’t walk as easily as I used to. I don’t talk as smoothly as I used to. I don’t debate as well as I used to, but I know what I do know: I know how to tell the truth. I know right from wrong. And I know how to do this job, I know how to get things done. And I know what millions of Americans know: When you get knocked down, you get back up.”
Considering all of the negative feedback Biden received, it’s certainly a bold move to sit back down in front of the cameras and risk more blunders.
POTUS – Takes The Stage Again On ABC News
President Biden’s interview will air on ABC on July 7th and 8th. According to a new report from TV Line, “POTUS will be interviewed on the campaign trail Friday by Good Morning America and This Week anchor George Stephanopoulos.
A first look will air later that evening, on World News Tonight with David Muir, followed by additional excerpts on Saturday and Sunday’s episodes of GMA. The extended interview will then air in two parts — Sunday, July 7, on This Week, and Monday, July 8, on GMA.”
The media is gearing up to hear what President Biden has to say, and we’re sure his staff is working overtime to prepare him for the big interview. Do you think Joe Biden will be able to pull it off without a hitch? Or will it be a disaster? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
