Justin Trudeau's Resignation - Donald Trump Pushes Canadian PM To QuitAccording to the latest reports, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expected to announce his resignation before Wednesday, per The Globe and Mail.

Breaking News: Did Donald Trump Pressure Justin Trudeau To Resign?

This move has prompted a lot of people to wonder if President-Elect Donald Trump might have pressured Trudeau to resign from his position. Trump has even joked that he’s willing to make Canada the 51st state once he begins his second term in office.

The announcement is set to be made before the national caucus meeting, the outlet reports.

It’s also been noted that Trudeau’s support among Canadians has completely collapsed, with just 30% of Canadians approving of his job as PM.

To make matters even worse, his approval rating was 63% when he was first elected.

If that weren’t enough, more and more leaders have called on Trudeau to resign in recent weeks. Last month, leader of Canada’s New Democratic Party Jagmeet Singh called on the PM to resign.

Of course, the internet certainly had a lot to say about the matter. Some critics commented on the situation with, Odd how they delayed it enough to secure pensions for those like Jagmeet Singh. Singh held the power to force Trudeau out.”

Another critic wrote, “Will he really resign though? Thats a real question, he went out and gave a speech about how amazing he was last time he was supposed to resign.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I’m sure all of Canada will rejoice. Replace him with a different ideology rather than another figurehead.”

So far Justin Trudeau himself has not made any comments about the matter just yet. We will update you with all of the latest details once they come in.
