Thank you, but no thank you. There’s heavy speculation on social media that suggests Kamala Harris wants absolutely nothing to do with Meghan Markle.

This, despite the fact that the Duchess of Sussex is either to endorse the vice president for the presidency.

But Kamala knows that any kind of association with the Duchess of Sussex is going to turn into a negative one and that’s the last thing she wants to deal with right now. 

Plus, Kamala knows that if the media picks up on any kind of friendship that she builds with Meghan, this is going to look bad. For diplomatic reasons, she doesn’t want it to look like she’s siding with Meghan over the rest of the royal family members back in the UK.

That’s why she wants Meghan Markle to keep her distance. The last thing that she needs to deal with right now is any kind of royal drama, especially since she’s trying to win a presidential race here.

But the Duchess of Sussex doesn’t see it this same way. In fact, she almost wants to force herself into Kamala’s personal bubble of confidants just because she sees herself pursuing a political career in the future, too.

In other words, Meghan sees this as an opportunity. She wants to be there by Kamala’s side, or at least close enough to her, when history is made, should she be elected as the first female president of the United States.

Meghan Markle – Sees An Opportunity 

Because who knows, Meghan might be following in her footsteps to the White House one day, too.

But Kamala is definitely smarter than that. She knows that Donald Trump will have a field day if he finds out that the two of them are close. The jokes will basically write themselves.

So far Kamala Harris herself has made no comments about the matter just yet.
