According to the latest reports, Meghan McCain rips Kamala Harris for apparently making up a story about how John McCain told her she would “make a great senator.”

Apparently, the comments came during an interview with Mark Halperin after Harris told a crowd about how much McCain loved her. 

Meghan said, “I remember what he actually said about Harris in private. I think it’s getting to the point of being disrespectful the way everyone is talking about him, because I find so much of it… it just doesn’t sound like him.”

“I remember what he actually said about Vice President Harris in private. I remember a specific dinner party with something he said.”

Meghan continued, “She never felt the need to share [the story], except 24 days before the election in Arizona, when you’re, for all intensive purposes… flatlining with independents.”

Did Kamala Harris Tell The Truth?

“So I am sick of it, but I also understand that, like, politicians are going to politician, and they’ve got to invoke whatever they can, wherever they can.”

“On both sides, everybody does it and it’s hilarious because some of the people who were the most cruel to him in life have sainted him in de*th.”

Of course, the internet sure did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some even commented with, “Meghan McCain’s got a point here. It’s pretty disrespectful to suddenly trot out a story about John McCain praising Kamala Harris, especially when it’s never been mentioned before, and conveniently 24 days before a critical election.”

Another critic wrote, “Kamala is using everything she can for political purposes. She’s using the hurricanes, the tragic de*th of her mom, John McCain and much more. All Kamala cares about is Kamala.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Meghan McCain’s critique of Kamala Harris highlights the complexities of political narratives and the sometimes contentious way public figures recall their relationships, especially in the lead up to elections.”
