Melania Trump knows the situation has just gotten much more serious after her husband Donald Trump was almost killed during a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

As many critics know by now, there’s footage making the rounds on social media that shows Trump ducking as bullets graze his ear.

The former president was quickly swarmed by Secret Service agents, who dragged him into a vehicle.

What’s Next For Donald Trump?

Trump also appeared to raise a fist as he was led off stage. There appeared to be blood on his face.

But for Melania Trump, if she could take back her words now, she certainly would.

There was speculation on social media suggesting she didn’t want to attend all of her husband’s rallies because she’s not Dr. Jill Biden.

Jill Biden, unfortunately, has to support her husband everywhere that he goes and that’s mostly because of the decline in his cognitive health.

One source quotes Melania as supposedly saying, “I don’t need to attend every rally because unlike Jill and Joe, Donald can take care of himself.”

“I don’t have to hold his hand everywhere we go.”

She also reportedly said, “Also, I’m still a mother. My young son just got out of high school. I choose to mother him and not Donald.”

But now that Donald Trump’s life was almost taken by a shooter, she is certainly going to change her approach and even her attitude moving forward.

As much as she didn’t want to be a part of the campaign trail, she is now worried about the father of her child, Barron Trump.

She’s worried that a sniper might not just go after her husband, but her entire family too and that’s why they need more protection. That, and they have to remain close and supportive of one another.

So far Melania has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
