Ivana Trump might have been one of Donald Trump‘s fiercest defenders until the very end, but it looks like he might have had very different feelings for her.
Of course, we are talking about Donald Trump’s ex-wife Ivana Trump and some of the most tragic details about her death, including where her ex-husband decided to bury her. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Tragic Details About Ivana Trump’s Death
Ivana Trump died on July 14, 2022, at the age of 72. According to reports, she was frail in her last months and she supposedly died of blunt impact injuries to the torso after falling down the stairs of her home in New York City.
As many fans know, she was the mother of Donald Jr, Ivanka and Eric Trump.
It’s been said that she left behind $34 million dollars of assets when she died that year. Her will specified that her fortune should only be split by her three children.
If that weren’t all enough, it’s also been reported that Ivana was buried at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, which is about 40 miles west of New York City.
A lot of people couldn’t help but scratch their heads over the decision, mostly because she is the first person to be buried at Donald Trump’s New Jersey property. In fact, the ground has to be consecrated just so Ivana could have a traditional Catholic burial.
Did Donald Trump Do This On Purpose?
There’s also been strong speculation that Donald Trump might have purposely buried his ex-wife where he did just so he could get a tax break. Apparently, there’s a tax code in New Jersey that decrees any cemetery land exempt from all taxes, rates and assessments.
While some people might think this is absolutely disrespectful and totally abhorrent, others aren’t surprised that Donald Trump would have thought about this before anyone else.
Some critics have even commented on the matter with, “Yes, the final insult, it’s a tax benefit to him if he buries people on his property, he put her over a knoll on the first tee
. Literally dug a hole, put the casket in and did nothing around it, the weeds remain, though I hope by now they’ve done something decent there. Everytime you think he’d gone as low as anyone can, the man digs himself another level of disgusting behavior.”
Another critic wrote, “A hopeless romantic might think that Donald wanted his first wife and the mother of Ivanka to be buried somewhere he could pay his respects on a regular basis without going a step out of his way.
But when you see the crappy little plot he dumped her in it’s hard to believe he was motivated by unending respect and affection.”

What about her children, do they not care about their own mothers grave cite. It looks like the apples didn’t fall too far from the trees. It’s a shame.
Highly doubt that his kids had any say in where she got buried. Their pigheaded dad did what was the cheapest for HIM!! Absolutely disgusting & @ the time he made a statement it was her favorite hole on the golf course… sure Don… Her sons had to clean out all her clothing from the apartment she had – why make your kids do that!
If her children were all in agreement that this was a good location to bury their mother at, it’s really their decision. I’m sure that her gravesite, in the middle of a parklike surroundings is safer and fixed up and honoring their Mother.
