Amy and Tammy’s Marriages
Amy and Tammy have both been married before, in fact, when the show began Amy was married to Michael Halterman and they have two sons together. Tammy met a man in weight loss rehab and they fell madly in love.
They were married for a short time, but when Tammy got out of rehab, her husband didn’t seem to want to put the effort in to lose more weight and get home to her.
Tammy’s husband passed away shortly after she moved out of weight loss rehab. Tammy was devastated about his loss, but there were a lot of concerns about their marriage and their relationship.
Tammy and Amy have both tried to move on, but their fans have noticed that the men they choose aren’t always the best at making good decisions.

Recently, Tammy and Amy were both guests on a podcast called LolcowLive. During their chat with the host, some very interesting things came out.
Tammy talked a lot about her weight loss and the ways that she was still working on losing weight. She also mentioned that she has a fiance. Amy also brought up that she was engaged to the man that she was married.
From listening to this, fans of 1000-Lb Sisters think that this may all come out on the new season. Fans were quick to share their thoughts on the podcast.
They were shocked that the two women are both engaged and it seems as if Tammy is with a woman now. Some fans wrote that they don’t have the best taste in men and that they do worry about them and their futures.
We will have to keep an eye on the women to see what happens next and if they introduce these significant others on the show.
