1000-Lb Sisters spoilers reveal that Tammy Slaton shocked her fans when she started to show off her tracheotomy on social media. In some of her newest photos, she was giving herself a kiss in the camera and fans could see that she had a tube attached to her neck. It looks as if this is the tracheotomy tube that her doctors inserted when she was placed in a medically induced coma.

When these pictures went up online, fans were worried about Tammy and they wanted to know how she was doing since she got out of the hospital. Tammy was also brought to the hospital for carbon dioxide poisoning and not getting enough oxygen into her body. This condition has a name, obesity hypoventilation and basically, her doctors said that when a person becomes so obese, they can’t take deep enough breaths to get the carbon dioxide from their lungs.

The tracheotomy that was inserted into her neck was to help to get oxygen pumping to her lungs. Some fans think that she may be still in the rehab facility, but others think she is back home with her sister, Amy Halterman.

Tammy’s health has been on the decline for a few months now and it looks as if she has lost all motivation too. She worked really hard for a while there and even lost 115 pounds in the rehab faciility. Now it looks like she feels that was enough and has pretty much stopped trying to lose more weight.

Tammy Slaton has taken a break from dieting because she said she needs to focus on her mental health first. She has been drinking a lot and claims that this is the way that she deals with her depression. She is also still vaping even though it was suggested that she stop for her health.
