1000-Lb Sisters Spoilers – Tammy Gets Arrested!
Tammy Slaton, who soared to fame through the reality TV show 1000-Lb Sisters, just got arrested. And the arrest took place in her home state of Kentucky.
However, despite her boasts about living a healthy lifestyle after weight loss, officers arrested Tammy on charges of marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession, according to In Touch.
The shocking situation began in early August. At that time, a police officer responded to a complaint about the 37-year-old reality TV star.
And that police investigation led to Tammy facing charges of one count of possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. A clerk of Union County Court confirmed the details.
However, Tammy’s sister Amy Slaton previously got arrested. But Amy faced a very different situation. And the citation for Tammy’s sister stemmed from shoplifting, according to the Sun.
1000-Lb Sisters Spoilers – Amy Admits To Shoplifting
Amy Slaton’s arrest resulted from “stealing a $7 book from Walmart,” revealed the 1000-Lb Sisters star. The charge showed that the arrest took place at a Kentucky Walmart after Amy shoplifted. And the arrest records showed that Walmart employees stopped Amy “when an alarm went off at the exit doors.”
After receiving a request to return inside the store, employees asked the 1000-Lb Sisters star if she took anything. And Amy admitted to stealing a book that cost approximately seven dollars. But police arrested her.
However, the 1000-Lb Sister star pleaded guilty. And she received two years probation and a $500 fine. But the court also ordered Amy to stay off the premises of Walmart, to not use illegal drugs, and to undergo periodic drug screening amid her probation.
1000-Lb Sisters Spoilers – Amy Stayed In ‘Drunk Tank’
And after welcoming her son Gage into the world, Amy explained what happened before that arrest. At the time, Amy did not work. And she struggled with her grandfather’s death.
“I really wanted this book and I thought, ‘Well, I’m going to try to steal it.’ So I put it in my purse. When I walked out the door at Walmart it beeped, the security thing,” recalled Amy. “The person came over to me and was like ‘Did you steal anything?’ And I said ‘No, you can check my bag.’ He checked and was like, ‘There is a book right here, did you pay for it’?”
And when the security guard reviewed the footage, he contacted the police. That led to a trip to the police station, where police obtained her fingerprints and took a mugshot. However, Amy also claimed that she spent time in a “drunk tank” for several hours before her mother arrived.

I don’t care how many people do it, the facts are that it’s illegal in Kentucky and she knows it. She’s not above the law. She shouldn’t get special treatment just because she’s not too smart. Besides, a 400 pound woman with the munchies is dangerous territory. Seriously.
