Fans know from social media and from Mama June: Family Crisis, that the youngest daughter of June Shannon studies nursing at college in Colorado. Briefly, folks suspected she chucked it in. However, she only took a hiatus to be around for her sister, Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell when she was dying from cancer.

One thing that worries a lot of fans is that Alana Thompson might be distracted from her studies by her boyfriend, Dralin Carswell. Remember, he faces issues with the law and some people fear a pregnancy. Many times, theories arose that the duo already got engaged. And that point was raised again this week on TikTok.

Mature & Inspirational?

Critics of Alana might be surprised to know that she seems so mature and serious about her studies at the moment. On Thursday, she posted a video of herself studying in the student lounge. There, she talked about how others could “study with [her].”

While she talked, some folks spotted a ring on her engagement finger. However, that didn’t get a lot of traction. Whether she’s engaged or just wearing a friendship ring, which she sometimes does, seems to be secondary news compared to her mature attitude.

It might seem incredible to those who followed little Honey Boo Boo on TV, but she currently studies for “Pharma and Meds Surgery” examinations. And, she’s dead serious about putting in the hard yards.

People seem impressed with mature Alana Thompson. After all, her mom and her sister both welcomed babies very young in life. Then, they ended up in relationships that fell apart. But, Alana seems to be breaking those generational chains.
