The History Channel pulled American Pickers from its lineup. This decision was made after the show’s dip in ratings. The long-running series has been on an emotional rollercoaster due to the recent changes. It struggled to attract the millions of viewers that it once had. Keep on reading to learn more.
American Pickers – Pulled From History Channel
The series first appeared on Saturdays on the History Channel. It was moved to Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET after newcomer Robbie Wolfe joined the show. According to the History Channel’s official website, a competing show will take its place.
A Pawn Stars marathon will air on Wednesdays instead. According to a previous report via The U.S. Sun, ratings for a March 20 episode rose to 832,000 viewers. That was an increase from the previous ratings. The March 13th episode only drew in 785,000 viewers.
Ratings have been on a steep decline ever since. Season 25 of American Pickers premiered on December 27, 2023. It features Mike Wolfe and his brother Robbie Wolfe, Danielle Colby, and new cast member Jersey Jon. Mike has been begging fans to tune into the new episodes on social media.
But most fans aren’t interested. They speculated about the show’s fate since they felt the new season was “boring.” They haven’t been satisfied with Robbie, who replaced Frank Fritz. He was also dubbed as “boring.” The show brought on Jersey Jon to add some spice and humor

American Pickers – Mike Wolfe Expands Empire
In the meantime, Mike Wolfe is expanding his empire outside of the show. He runs several businesses, including multiple antique shops. His girlfriend Leticia Cline also has numerous ventures under her own name. She recently opened an Ace Coffee shop in Cave City, Kentucky.
Mike has been involved in his girlfriend’s latest business. He promoted new merch on social media amid the show’s absence. On Thursday, April 4, Mike posted photos of the clothing on his Instagram Stories. American Pickers fans can get them at his local shop, Antique Archaeology.
One of the photos featured a brunette woman wearing the shop’s brown sweatshirt with a white wide-brimmed hat. In another photo, a man wore a gray sweatshirt with the logo emblazoned on the back. Mike didn’t share a context for the post. He only included a link to the store’s website.
Despite the low ratings, Mike Wolfe announced that filming started for Season 26 of American Pickers. What are your thoughts on the show being pulled and replaced with a competing series? Does this surprise you? Sound off below in the comment section.

This has always been a favorite of mine. It definitely has changed without Frank. Rob was a little on the boring side but Jersey helped. I hate to see it go. Wish they could have done something to perk it up.
I like the show and would like it to continue
Since Frank’s departure, the show is not the same…..tried watching but found it boring, mostly targeted on old autos. Mike’s brother was fine on an occasional appearance. Loved the banter between Frank and Mike. Without that, there is no reason to watch.
I hope it continues
I have been watching on Roku the show was went from flatulence, oil cans, and small, to doors, walls and cars. You must be truly consumed by what you are doing to be the best otherwise it shows. If he truly wanted a show people would want to watch he would have rode around the states in his van with a playmate.
I Love this show I have watched from the start!! Jersey is a great addition! I love antiques and people can actually learn about lots of stuff by watching! It should definitely stay on the air!!!
