“American Pickers” Season 26: Details On New Season & Contract Renewal

American Pickers – Despite Declining Ratings, Show Continues To Go Strong

Recent seasons of American Pickers have seen a decline in ratings, but with that said, the History Channel has renewed the show for three more years – something that was revealed this past May.

This was a pleasant surprise, as throughout Season 25, the show brought in less than one million viewers for each episode. At American Picker’s peak last year, it brought in only 948,000 for a show that aired on January 24; meanwhile, its Valentine’s Day episode had 774,000 viewers. Still, fans have been anxiously waiting to hear when new shows air.

Sounds like Mike Wolfe, Robbie Wolfe, as well as “Jersey Jon” Szalay, and Danielle Colby will all be coming back for the new season.

Mike Wolfe’s brother, Robbie, leaked the Season 26 premiere date last month in a post on Instagram.

The pic revealed him and the crew sitting on a cabin porch, with a caption that noted a new season of American Pickers was being filmed. It was then that he announced new shows would start airing on October 15.

Meanwhile, Mike Wolfe posted a BTS photo with Jersey Jon and the rest of the crew in July, but there was a different reason behind it all. In the caption he states, “I know everyone says they have the best crew, but in this business how many can say they have worked side by side with most for over a decade.”

He noted in the post that many within the crew have worked with him for almost 16 years and a lot of them for over ten years. He added that working and living side by side with these people has been one of the greatest experiences in his life.
